Job Summary:
The orthopedic medical surgical registered nurse position is located in the Montana area. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical procedures in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. It includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as providing health education, counseling, and supportive therapy to promote patient well-being. The nurse will also be responsible for executing delegated medical functions, monitoring treatment plans, documenting in compliance with regulatory guidelines, and utilizing resources effectively. The position offers the potential for floating to other departments within scope of competency based on operational needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Variable 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing), current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS (American Heart Association), no minimum years of experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing, certification as appropriate for unit or service, previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
• Additional Information: The successful candidate will perform a variety of nursing duties within the scope of practice, supporting the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization. May be required to float to other departments as needed and be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
