Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory procedures is needed at a healthcare facility in Front Royal, Virginia. This position involves providing fast-paced, critical care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, adhering to established safety and clinical protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases, including patient education, sedation administration, and monitoring during procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 36 hours guaranteed weekly, with 8-hour shift hours and minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have 2+ years of circulating and documenting experience in the cardiac catheterization laboratory; scrubbing experience is preferred. Valid VA or Compact state license required. Certifications include ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scrubbing procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Additional Information: Provide critical, fast-paced care for patients undergoing minimally invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, including review of medical history/allergies, patient education, sedation administration, and hemodynamic monitoring. Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cases, including cardioversions and Transesophageal Echocardiograms.
• Location: Front Royal, Virginia at 1000 Shenandoah Avenue.
• Type of Patients: Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular patients.
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the hospital, adhering to facility dress code policies.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
