Job Summary:
The laboratory and delivery department position is located in Highland Park, Illinois. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery department, supporting obstetric patient needs, and ensuring quality maternal care. The position requires flexibility, professionalism, and a focus on patient safety and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, with a start time between 6:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
• Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, ACLS certification, Epic electronic health record experience, 0+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor, delivery, and postpartum care; prior experience working with Epic EHR; strong knowledge of obstetric procedures.
• Additional Information: No weekend work required; facility is closed on holidays, therefore hours are not guaranteed during these periods. Orientation will occur on Monday prior to start date; certifications are due Thursday before commencing the assignment. Submission of an updated resume, a recent reference from a supervisor within the last year, valid Illinois nursing license, skills checklist, and proof of passing EKG test (80% or higher) are required.
