Job Summary:
This is a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Florence, Alabama. The role involves providing specialized care in the labor and delivery unit, supporting postpartum patients, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers an opportunity to work within a busy facility focusing on maternal and neonatal health.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license, minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery, certifications in ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, and BLS; location in Alabama
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, and postpartum care; strong time management and communication skills; adaptable team player with empathy and attention to detail
• Additional Information:
  • Unit is a postpartum and labor area with 9 beds and patient ratios of 1:1
  • Equipment includes electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems
  • Unit requires postpartum care experience and fetal monitoring skills
  • Applicant must adhere to facility dress code with scrubs in Ceil Blue and avoid unacceptable attire
  • No float rotation required, but candidate should be adaptable and able to handle inpatient obstetric cases
