Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located in Neptune, New Jersey. This role involves evaluating neonatal patients and assisting physicians with patient care. The nurse will plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care based on the needs of neonates, utilizing evidence-based practices and nursing protocols to deliver patient-centric care in a specialized setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, holiday as needed, floating as needed (Pediatrics/PICU)
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing), NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (American Heart Association) - licensed
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
• Skills: Patient care, nursing care planning, patient assessment, therapeutic nursing interventions, care management, pediatric nursing, clinical documentation, evidence-based practice, PICU nursing
• Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for managing neonatal care in a high-acuity environment, including performing assessments, developing care plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions. Flexibility with floating between units (Pediatrics/PICU) is required to support clinical needs.
