Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Montana. This position involves providing specialized care in a critical access facility with 22 beds. The role requires adaptable skills across various OB units, including newborn care and postpartum, with a focus on high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Montana license, at least 3 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D) and obstetrical triage, certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and CLC (Calderon Labor Care). Must be able to circulate for Cesarean sections, handle labor & delivery, postpartum, sterile vaginal exams, and obstetric triage. Recent experience in delivering comprehensive OB care required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for postpartum hemorrhage (PPH).
• Float: Float rotation may be required to assist with skill coverage across OB units when no patients are present on L&D.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be available for scheduled on-call once per pay period, work every other weekend, and participate in holiday coverage as required. Must be flexible to float within the facility. Candidates should be prepared to work at least one winter or summer holiday. Verification of prior work at a healthcare facility within the last 3 years, as well as references, is required prior to start.
