Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) located in Apple Valley, California. This position involves providing specialized surgical support within an acute care hospital environment. The role requires handling a variety of surgical cases with a focus on spine and total joints, supporting the operating room team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California license, certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST or NBSTSA/NCCT), two years of scrub experience in an inpatient setting, including spine and total joint procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries (Da Vinci Xi), SPD experience, outpatient surgical experience.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and Surgical Technologist Certification (CST or NBSTSA/NCCT).
- Additional Information: Must be willing to float between main operating room and outpatient surgery center; on-call required with a 30-minute response time; hospital utilizes EPIC charting system; parking is free.
