Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility in Wheatland, Wyoming. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for adult patients on a medical surgical floor. The RN will ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care through the application of professional nursing standards and clinical expertise.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift (12-hour shifts) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or a multi-state licensure, with BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience as an RN in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Professional certification in relevant specialties is a plus.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, formulate and implement individualized care plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. They will provide patient education, respond to changing patient needs, and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. The environment requires adherence to standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Effective communication and proper body mechanics are essential.
