Job Summary
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Cortez, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department, adhering to hospital policies and standards. The role requires the ability to perform assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associate degree required, bachelor degree preferred; Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure within the state of Colorado; Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire (NRP for FBC); Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire; Successful completion of Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 4 months of hire; Minimum of 1 year ER/Inpatient experience preferred. ER: TNCC Course Completion within 12 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an emergency room setting; TNCC certification is preferred.
Additional Information: The role entails administering nursing care to emergency department patients, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to assess and respond to patient needs. Maintains compliance with infection control and safety standards, documents care accurately, and collaborates with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
