Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Step Down Unit location in Nashville, Tennessee. This position involves providing advanced cardiac care to patients with conditions such as heart failure, cardiomyopathy, acute coronary syndrome, and pre- and post-cardiac surgery. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care in a 23-bed unit for young adult through late adult patients.

Job Details:

Shift: Nights
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, successful completion of a rhythm recognition test, at least 0 years of experience, located in Nashville, Tennessee
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac or step-down nursing units is preferred
Additional Information: The unit has a variable staffing grid that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for patient care on each team.
