Job Summary:
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position is available in the San Tan Valley, Arizona area. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients within the unit, utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The nurse will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based care while collaborating with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or valid compact licensure. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required. Experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to critical or acute care is a plus.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, coordinate patient care, and document clinical information accurately. The role involves direct patient care and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
