Description
Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in surgical technology is needed at a healthcare facility located in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves assisting in outpatient surgeries within sports medicine, urology, plastics, eyes, hand/foot, and other surgical procedures. The role requires flexibility, weekend availability, and the ability to adapt to a rotating day/evening schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Burlington, VT 05401
- Shift Schedule: Rotating day and evening shifts
- Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 07/27/2026
- Travel Required: No
- Float Requirement: No
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). CNOR certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years operating room (OR) experience. Prior travel experience required.
- Additional Information:
- Assignment duration: 13-16 weeks, with an ASAP start
- No block scheduling, working Monday to Sunday with bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- Work history must include all details such as bed count, EMR, and facility type.
- The facility requires all employment gaps over 90 days to be explained.
