Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the neurosurgical and general surgical services in a Level II Trauma Center. The RN will be responsible for supporting complex neurosurgical procedures, including craniotomies and spinal surgeries, and may float to other service lines in the main operating room as needed.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 1 year experience in operating room nursing; certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), CNOR; fully competent in all neurosurgical procedures including craniotomies and complex spine.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma level II designation, community hospital background, and prior travel or float experience within multiple surgical services.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to support departmental needs.
• Additional Information:
  • The RN will serve a diverse patient population including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics across multiple units including neurosurgery, ortho, ENT, plastics, and robotics.
  • The unit features interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
  • The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 629 staffed beds and is designated as a Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center.
  • Electronic charting is performed in Epic.
  • The position requires compliance with travel documentation, including submission of RTO requests and references, and adherence to facility-specific policies.
