Description
Job Summary:
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Nursing position in Denver, Colorado, involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching and counseling to patients. The qualified professional will execute treatment plans, monitor therapy, and document patient care to promote recovery and well-being.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school of nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS; NIH certification; 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; TNCC certification; previous experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs. May need to be placed on call during scheduled shifts.
