Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in Fullerton, California. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care in a busy labor and delivery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California RN license or valid compact license, ACLS certification, AWHONN Advanced certification, BCLS certification, NRP certification, 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or 1.5 years with significant relevant experience, willingness to work weekends and possibly exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs
• Preferred Qualifications: Expert experience in sterile vaginal exams, independent performance of sterile vaginal exams, EPIC electronic charting system experience
• Float: Floatation between units including mother-baby may be required
• Start Date: 07/28/2026

• Additional Job Information:
  • RTO restrictions apply; RTO must be included at the time of submission
  • Guaranteed hours, facility can call off once per two-week pay period
  • Must have reliable transportation, and proof of local residence within 50 miles of the facility, preferably verified through a drivers license
  • References required: 2 references covering 1 year (6 months for CNA) within the last 3 years
  • Willingness to accept a permanent position if offered
  • No on-call requirement
