Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in Fullerton, California. This role requires providing specialized care within the Labor and Delivery department, supporting first-time mothers, and managing sterile vaginal exams and triage independently. The position involves working night shifts and participating in weekend rotations to meet unit needs.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license, ACLS certification, AWHONN Advanced certification, BLS certification, NRP certification, at least 1 year of relevant experience (may consider 1.5 years depending on experience), ability to perform sterile vaginal exams independently, expert experience required, flexibility with scheduling but no guaranteed days off, willing to work weekends, open to working with first-time mothers, on-call not required, float determined by unit needs, no pending license requirements, RTO restrictions apply, guaranteed hours may be available.

• Additional Information: The role involves working in an acute care hospital with a staffed capacity of approximately 320 beds. The unit provides specified scrub and labor/delivery attire. Candidates must be willing to work cross-unit float rotations and weekends, with a start date as soon as possible. Ensure all onboarding documents, including license and certifications, are submitted prior to start date.
