Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position located in Silver City, New Mexico. This role involves assessing, planning, and delivering safe perioperative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in the PACU setting and be available for scheduled on-call shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts; Monday-Friday; Day shift with varied hours and on-call responsibilities; minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico or multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), and current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA) certification upon hire. No minimum years of experience required, but two years of related nursing experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience specifically in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing.
• Additional Information: The position involves providing comprehensive care in a PACU setting, requiring flexibility to float to other units if necessary. The role is a replacement of permanent staff to support ongoing patient care needs.
