Job Details

• Location: 3315 South Alameda, Corpus Christi, TX, 78411
• Schedule: Days shift, 9 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN and/or CST certification; relevant educational background; ability to work in Texas; no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, ENT, or orthopedic procedures; familiarity with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Unit accommodates 9 beds with a staff of approximately 22.41, including full-time, part-time, and PRN team members. The team operates with a mix of day and night shifts, utilizing specialized equipment such as Brain Lab, Da Vinci surgical systems, and microscopes. Call shifts are mandatory and scheduled on weekends and one weekday, with specific hours outlined for weekend and weekday call responsibilities. The unit follows hospital policies for surgical services and emphasizes a motivated, detail-oriented approach to patient care.
