Job Summary:
The Endoscopy Laboratory professional position is located in Tomball, Texas. This role involves supporting a busy endoscopy unit with a focus on various advanced procedures. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with endoscopic procedures including biopsies, ablations, PEG placements, colonoscopies, and dilations, ensuring efficient patient care and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift hours are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM every four weeks.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have at least 0 years of experience, with a demonstrated skill set in Endoscopy procedures including EGD with biopsy, ablation/cautery, PEG placement and removal, ultrasound-guided procedures, colonoscopy with polyp removal and biopsy, dilation, and setup of transport carts for ICU and ER. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Olympus processors/lightsource/video, ultrasound, Bovie cautery, and Medivators equipment. A team-oriented personality with professional demeanor, approachability, and flexibility is highly desirable.
• Additional Information: The role requires teamwork, professionalism, and flexibility. The unit comprises two beds, three procedure rooms, five preoperative/PACU bays, and a staff of six registered nurses, two endoscopy technologists, and one endoscopy scope processor. Safety standards and unit policies should be followed, and attire includes provided scrubs.
