Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care for maternal and newborn patients. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate and comprehensive maternity services, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing; Wisconsin Registered Nursing license; BLS certification within 1 month of hire; NRP certification within 6 months of hire; STABLE certification within 1 year of hire; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within 1 year of hire; An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Essential Responsibilities: Completing initial nursing histories, assessing patients' conditions, developing individualized care plans, triaging care, administering medications, managing labor progression, dealing with obstetric emergencies, performing fetal heart monitoring, managing pregnancy-related concerns, assessing newborns, performing neonatal resuscitation, recognizing neonatal sepsis, monitoring for adverse events, providing patient education, communicating with the care team, and performing additional duties as requested.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in maternal and neonatal care, strong communication skills, and proficiency with nursing equipment and electronic health records.
