Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) to provide patient care in a hospital setting located in Wilson, North Carolina. This position involves working on a Med Surg unit with adult and geriatric patient populations, supporting surgical, psychiatric, and other treatment needs. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a facility known for comprehensive cancer and cardiac care, orthopedics, and imaging services.

Job Details

• Certification and Education Requirements: Current RN license, Associates Degree in Nursing (RN), minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as the second nurse, including Telemetry and Emergency Department coverage.
• Additional Information: Orientation is bi-weekly with upcoming start dates on 07/06, 07/20, and 08/03. The RN must be able to work flexible scheduling to meet facility needs. Experience with Meditech Electronic Health Record system is preferred.
• Unit Information: 22 beds on each unit, patient ratios of 6:1 up to 7:1, equipped with telemetry monitoring.
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses including surgical, psychiatric, and treatment exchanges.
