Job Summary:
The surgical technician specialty is based in Hermiston, Oregon. This position involves facilitating operative or other invasive procedures by preparing and providing sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment. The surgical technician maintains a sterile field, supports the surgical team, and participates in room preparation and cleaning activities to ensure efficient operation and patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program. BLS certification. Preferred: Certified surgical technologist (CST). CRASE training may be required if the travel assignment extends beyond six months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified surgical technologist (CST).
• Additional Information: Facilitates operative or invasive procedures by assembling supplies and instruments, maintaining sterility, assisting with draping, providing instruments to the surgical team, and preparing sterile dressings. Responsible for cleaning and processing surgical instruments and assisting with room turnover. Participates in ongoing educational activities and maintains patient confidentiality. Supportive of the organization's mission, vision, and policies. May be floated to other departments where qualified; performs other related duties as assigned.
