Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse opportunity in Burlington, Vermont. This position involves working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment providing high-quality care to patients. The role requires flexibility to meet the needs of the unit and patient care, including rotating day/night shifts.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); TNCC must be in packet or proof of class prior to start, NIHSS required prior to start; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; prior travel experience preferred but not mandatory; large, teaching facility experience required; recent EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within past 2 years
- Additional Information:
- 13-16 week assignment starting on 07/27/2026
- No block schedules; bi-weekly orientations on Monday
- Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicle strongly recommended during months of November through April
- The assignment is for Monday to Sunday with no fixed block schedule
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history details including bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., are required for submission
