Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse position in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients within a dedicated unit that supports infants requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a collaborative environment, emphasizing patient safety and family-centered care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE certification, 3 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and current practice location in Tennessee
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous NICU experience, familiarity with Philips monitors, Meditech and Centricity Perinatal documentation systems
- Float: Float to comparable areas of high need may be required
- Additional Information:
- No techs in NICU; staff ratios of 2-3:1
- Unit utilizes Philips monitors; documentation through Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems
- Uniform: Navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs; no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish
- Number of positions: 2 to 4
- Start date: 08/03/2026
