Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Trauma Specialty located in Reno, Nevada, is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced, Level II trauma center. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric trauma patients within a multidisciplinary environment, emphasizing clinical excellence and patient-centered service.
Job Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse - Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX); minimum 2 years of Trauma ICU experience; CCRN strongly preferred but not mandatory.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Additional Information: The role involves potential floating to other units as needed, working major holidays, and taking on additional shifts during the schedule period. The environment is extremely busy and fast-paced, serving a large geographic area as a designated Level II trauma center.
