Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry at a medical center in Reno, Nevada. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment, serving a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and collaborative practices.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 shift, Days, Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience including identifying and measuring rhythm strips, passing a telemetry competency exam, and ability to float to ICU and medical surgical units as needed
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract. Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
