Job Summary:
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care at a healthcare facility in Mexia, Texas. The role involves providing advanced patient care to adult and geriatric patients requiring critical care management, including vent and bipap management, and critical care drips. This position offers a collaborative, family-oriented environment with a focus on teamwork and positive patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day Shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), 1-2 years of ICU experience, experience with vent and bipap management, critical care drips, and treatment of conditions such as CHF, AFIB RVR, DKA, PNA, Sepsis.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, teamwork skills, positive attitude, adaptability to provider needs.
• Additional Information: The ICU unit has 6 beds with patient ratios of 1:2, utilizing telemetry monitors, VS machines, bladder scanner, ultrasound for IV, Doppler, vents, and bipaps. Candidates must be able to float to MS when census is low in ICU. The role is a replacement of permanent staff and requires a minimum of 36 hours per week starting 07/27/2026. Candidates should be located 60 miles or greater from the facility.
