Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric care within a busy Level II trauma center. The RN will be responsible for caring for patients in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, potentially floating to other maternal units and working various schedule shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Details
- Location: 1155 Mill St, Reno, NV 89502
- Position: Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery (L&D) Department
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, May be required to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts
- Schedule: Varies based on department needs; includes weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Required Certifications and Licenses: Nevada State RN license prior to start; certifications including NRP, BLS, ACLS, and STABLE (preferred)
- Experience: At least 2 years in high-risk labor and delivery in a hospital setting
- Additional Requirements: May be required to float to other maternal units, postpartum, and NICU up to their competency level; may work major holidays and pick up additional shifts during the schedule period
