Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse with specialization in Open Heart (OR OH) located in Oregon. This position involves providing cardiac care to surgical and procedural sedation patients within the operating room. The role supports a diverse patient population across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and elderly groups, working with various provider specialties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon submission; Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required; One (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing class; Two (2) years experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or a medical/surgical acute care setting; One (1) year Cardiac Operating Room (CVOR/Open Heart) experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: ICU experience preferred; Scrubbing experience preferred.
