Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a unit that primarily requires oncology experience. The selected candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy treatments, including vesicant chemotherapy, following appropriate courses and certifications. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting patients through critical recovery phases.

Job Details:

• Location: Ypsilanti, Michigan
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, oncology experience preferred, experience as a healthcare professional, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, compliance with facility-specific chemotherapy training requirements including the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN).
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology certification and prior experience with vesicant chemotherapy administration are advantageous.
• Additional Information: Candidates will be expected to complete a unit-based oncology course and orientation before administering non-vesicant chemotherapy. Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions will generally be excluded from assignments unless advanced certification or course completion has been achieved.
