Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This position involves providing specialized patient care on a unit that primarily manages patients requiring intermediate medical attention. The role includes administering chemotherapy with proper certification and completing necessary oncology courses, with a focus on safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of relevant experience, oncology experience preferred, completion of the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or oncology unit-based training, and unitorientation. Staff must be either ONS certified or have completed the required course before administering chemotherapy.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience and certification are advantageous.
• Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable administering non-vesicant chemotherapy following successful completion of oncology-specific training or certification.
