Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nursing position located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized unit, with shifts primarily scheduled during nights. The position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience and offers a comprehensive overview of patient care responsibilities suited for nurses with oncology experience or certification.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 1 year of clinical experience; oncology experience is preferred; completion of or willingness to complete the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course; or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• Prior experience administering non-vesicant chemotherapy following oncology unit training or certification
• Willingness to adhere to facility-specific protocols, including completion of necessary training before patient assignment
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology-related certifications, additional perioperative or critical care certifications
• Additional Information: The facility emphasizes staff competency in chemotherapy administration and oncology procedures. Must be able to work night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment, ensuring safety and quality patient care.
