Description
Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Walnut Creek, California. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to neonates, primarily at level III neonatal units, on the night shift. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to patient recovery and well-being.
Job Details:
- Location: Walnut Creek, California
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California licensed Registered Nurse (RN), at least 2 years of recent NICU experience, comfortable with level III neonates, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV), Electronic Health Record (EHR) system experience with EPIC
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Orientation date scheduled for 8/11/2026; IVS will interview and the manager will extend an offer
