Operating Room Nurse (RN) at a busy medical center in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical episode. The position requires a focus on adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, utilizing nursing knowledge and clinical skills to support high-quality surgical services.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 4x10 shifts, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM, totaling a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; minimum 2 years of Surgery (Operating Room) experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to meet organizational needs, up to the competence level of the nurse.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be asked to work major holidays and pick up an additional shift during the schedule period. The facility operates in a high-volume, Level II Trauma Center environment with accreditation in stroke care, serving a 500-mile radius. The hospital provides extensive surgical and medical services with a focus on rapid, high-quality care in a 24/7 setting.
