Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in New York, NY. This position involves providing specialized care in a cardiac-focused PICU setting. The role requires strong cardiac skills and the ability to float within different units as needed, supporting the organizations commitment to comprehensive patient care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, with a total of 34.5 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BSN, New York State RN License, COVID vaccination, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), EMR experience, 2 years of experience in pediatric intensive care or relevant local experience within the last 3 years, 2 references from the most recent assignment within skill set, willingness to float to units appropriate for skill set
Preferred Qualifications: Strong cardiac skills and experience in cardiology or cardiac surgical units are highly desirable
Additional Information: Position start date is July 27, 2026. Offers are valid for 48 business hours. The role involves providing own scrubs (Navy Bottom + White Top or All White with appropriate footwear). There is no call requirement; every other weekend work is scheduled. No float requirement is specified for this position.
