Job Summary:
The specialty is Step Down Unit located in Tennessee. This role involves a 12-hour day shift on weekdays, with the unit requiring flexibility to meet schedule needs. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing patient care to diverse populations, including cardiac and respiratory patients. Candidates must have prior travel experience, a Tennessee license or compact license on file at the time of submission, and preferably Cerner electronic medical record experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee license or compact license, minimum of 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, Cerner electronic medical record experience (strongly preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac and respiratory patient populations, flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical and Emergency Room units as needed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for 8/17, 8/24, and 8/31, with no sooner start date. The position requires weekend and holiday shifts, and scrubs must be navy blue. The age of patients served is 18 and older.
