Job Summary:
Ambulatory perioperative registered nurse (RN) specializing in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) services at a Level 1 Trauma hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. This position involves providing recovery care for patients in a busy, multispecialty environment, with a focus on ambulatory surgery patients. The role requires competence in PACU nursing within a hospital setting.

Job Details:

Location: Hartford, CT
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in PACU or ambulatory surgery, no ICU skills required, experience in main PACU or Level 1 Trauma hospital ambulatory surgery PACU.
Preferred Qualifications: Main PACU or Level 1 Trauma hospital ambulatory surgery PACU experience.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Responsibilities include providing post-anesthesia care to ambulatory surgery patients in a high-volume hospital setting. The candidate should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and adhere to hospital protocols.
