Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Clinical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) in GOLDSBORO, North Carolina. The Clinical Nurse will be responsible for providing competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital setting. This role involves coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process, with a focus on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring continuity of care across interdisciplinary teams.
Job Details:
- Shift Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: One (1) year of nursing experience, Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing, and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Additional Information: Provides comprehensive patient care including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety assessments; participates in patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration; utilizes healthcare organization and nursing standards; performs bedside point of care testing as required; promotes a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment; demonstrates competence in the care of patients with complex problems and diverse needs; develops relationships with patients families to support advocacy and care planning.
