Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in North Carolina. This role involves providing competent clinical nursing care in a hospital setting, focusing on antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum patient care. The position emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, patient education, and care planning specific to obstetric patients.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA or ARC); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing; 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience; Epic experience; ability to circulate for Cesarean sections and triage for obstetrics.
- Skills: Nursing, Patient Care Coordination, Patient Education, Patient Assessment, Care Planning.
- Additional Skills: Point of Care Testing, OB Triage, C-Section Circulation.
- Education: Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing (required); BSN or MSN (preferred).
- Certifications & Licensure: Valid RN license in North Carolina, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (required).
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
