Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Open Heart procedures in San Diego, California. This role involves providing clinical leadership in a defined surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and staff development. Job Details:
- Schedule: Dayshift, 0630-1500, 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) with the California Board of Registered Nursing, 2 years of recent, pertinent, clinical experience, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS Healthcare) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Leadership experience, CVOR Open Heart, Circulating, Cardiac robotic procedures, Scrub experience, Physician relations, and liaising with sterile processing teams.
- Additional Information: The role includes providing leadership and coordination of shift operations in a clinical area, managing staff performance, resolving operational issues, overseeing productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. It involves collaboration across disciplines, staff mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
