Description

Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a facility located in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This position involves working in a high-volume birthing pavilion with approximately 1,300 deliveries annually. The role offers a rotating shift schedule with a focus on providing quality maternal care in accordance with professional staffing guidelines.

Job Details:

  • Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, with 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, and willingness to work rotating shifts
  • Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and related obstetric nursing specialties
  • Float: Float rotation may be required
  • Additional Information: The unit follows American Women's Hospital Nurses Organization (AWHONN) staffing guidelines, including nurse-to-patient ratios for various obstetric scenarios such as active labor, cervical ripening, high-risk medication administration, and postpartum care. The facility offers comprehensive maternal services with dedicated labor and operating rooms.
