Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse Gilbert, AZ. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit setting. The role emphasizes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure the best outcomes for neonatal patients, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Gilbert, AZ
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which the candidate is applying is desired. Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area in which they work as demonstrated through annual validations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Professional certification related to neonatal care (e.g., Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification) is desirable.
• Additional Information: The role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Must possess physical agility and reaction time to respond quickly to neonatal care needs. May be required to lift up to 75 pounds and use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Effective communication skills are essential for accurate documentation and team collaboration.
