Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position at a Trauma Level 3 Pediatric Hospital in Austin, TX. This role involves providing professional nursing care in the operative setting for pediatric patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Responsibilities include circulating functions such as monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions, managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures, and assisting the surgical team with operative tasks.
Job Details:
- Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience with Cerner charting system is a plus
- Preferred: Circulate or Scrub as applicable
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
