Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor care in Espanola, New Mexico. This role involves providing direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team and patient families to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care during night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License; BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross; at least one 13-week previous travel assignment; two (2) years current experience in Medical Surgical Floor specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience; capable of on-site training.
• Skills: PROTOCOL DOCUMENTATION, PATIENT CARE, NURSING PROCESS, MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION, CLINICAL SUPERVISION
• Additional Information: Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.
