Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Lodi, California. This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, supervising nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of mothers and infants. The role requires critical thinking, professional judgment, and a focus on providing a compassionate, healing environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Acute care facility experience preferred. Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Facility-specific Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
- Additional Information: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment information, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates patient progress. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and a safe environment. Performs discharge planning and delegates duties as appropriate. Participates in ongoing education and fulfills organizational vaccination requirements.
