Job Summary:
The ICU Cardiovascular specialty position is located in Palo Alto. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within the intensive care unit setting, focusing on cardiovascular patients. The clinical nurse will perform all steps of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, while collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, ability to communicate effectively in English, 0 years of experience required, and location in California
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an ICU setting and cardiovascular patient care (if applicable)
• Additional Information: The clinical nurse is responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing interventions, monitoring patient responses, educating patients and families, and contributing to the professional growth of the nursing team. The role emphasizes effective communication, leadership in practice, and adherence to regulatory standards.
