Job Summary
The Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Redwood City, California. This role involves providing comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical unit. The RN will engage in all steps of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; at least 1 year of nursing experience; ability to communicate effectively in English
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical-surgical unit; certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, performing assessments, collaborating with healthcare team members, and providing patient and family education. The role requires quick problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous professional development. The position may involve participating in unit programs, team meetings, and utilizing clinical technology for documentation and communication.
