Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Palo Alto, California. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care within an evidence-based framework, adhering to hospital policies, standards of care, and regulatory requirements. The OR Nurse collaborates with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, supports patient recovery, and maintains high levels of clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, no minimum years of experience required, location in Palo Alto, California.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the operating room setting is advantageous.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques, monitoring patient vital signs, and responding to intraoperative emergencies. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
