Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart Technologist in en_US This position involves supporting surgical teams in cardiac surgery procedures, particularly those related to open heart and thoracic vascular surgeries. Job Details

• Shift Time: Rotating
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology, BLS Basic Life Support, CST Certified Surgical Technologist (preferred), 1 year of experience in operating room, open heart, or thoracic vascular specialties
• Preferred Qualifications: CVOR experience, Cardiac Surgery, Open Heart, Thoracic Vascular experience required. Call is required.
• Additional Information: The position involves supporting cardiac surgical procedures, preparing surgical instruments and supplies, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with specimen and medication handling. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of normal anatomy and physiology, adhere to safety policies, and take accountability for professional growth.
