Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in Reno, Nevada. This position involves supporting surgical procedures in a specialized cardiovascular operating room. The role requires preparation of supplies, instrumentation, and equipment for open-heart surgeries, as well as assisting the surgical team throughout procedures. The surgical technologist will support room turnover, patient positioning, and ensure procedural readiness in accordance with hospital standards.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift with 10-hour workdays, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 07/27/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a surgical technologist, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NBSTSA certification, completion of a surgical technologist program, at least 2 years of experience as a cardiovascular operating room surgical technologist in first & second scrub roles, and travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Additional Information: Must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility. The role involves managing surgical supplies, conducting instrument counts with registered nurses according to department standards, and adhering to confidentiality and patient privacy guidelines.
